Wellness Wednesday - Bucci advocating for the disabled

#WellnessWednesday🧘🏾🏃🏾‍♀️🤸🏾🕊️☘️

“Being disabled should not mean being disqualified from having access to every aspect of life.” — Emma Thompson

We are admiring the song "APAPA" by Bucci, which is advocating for the voice of the disabled community. The message behind the song needs to be heard 🗣️

Bucci hopes that the song inspires all of us as a nation to reach out, hold hands, and do our best to strive for inclusivity for our deaf citizens. "The song outlines the challenges the deaf community faces in the pursuit of daily activities. The simple tasks and opportunities that we take for granted are milestones that they have to overcome on a daily basis. The deaf citizens remain voiceless because they are tuned out and forgotten. The time has come to unmute them, for their silence to be heard loud and clear."

Bucci has with this song turned the volume up on their challenges and their needs in hopes that Malawi and the international world have no option but to listen.
