The 100 Poem Project
In these trying times, at Khala Series we remain moved by the role of story in all our lives. Our mission has always been to create safe spaces where people can, like the meaning of the Chichewa word ‘khala’, just be/exist and tell their stories. This year we are looking for 100 poems! Khala Series wants to create a poetry collection that houses previously unpublished poems and prose; this collection will be curated and edited by storyteller Upile Chisala. The ultimate goal of this project is to lift little big voices as loudly and as widely as we can.
