Following this, Mirriam has won full secondary and tertiary education scholarships, which will be sponsored by a Member of Parliament for Zomba Central, in addition that, she has also been rewarded with MKW 100,000 by the sponsor . Here is a young lady on a path to achieve greater things in her life.
It is always a great joy to witness young girls like her rise up and conquer the odds to be best they can be. A girl’s education, especially in Malawi changes everything for the girl and even her whole family, living up to the adage that when you educate a girl you train the whole village.
Mirriam will always be an inspiration to other young girls who thought it was impossible as a girl to achieve what she has achieved. She will be a constant reminder that girls are just as intelligent as boys.
To Mirram, the whole country cerebrates with you, this is just the beginning of your journey. The world is yours, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. We are all cheering you on from the sidelines!
