Scorchers captain Tabitha Chawinga says she has no plans to settle down now as she is concentrating on playing soccer and chasing her dreams.
Speaking to MBC, Chawinga said it is sad that everywhere she goes people ask her about marriage a thing she described as a "catalyst for poverty manufacturing",
"Its sad that most girls in the country marry and give birth at tender ages of 15, 16, 17, it is obvious that such kids cannot take care of their babies hence giving pressure to government. I don't want to be like that. I will think about it when I turn 30" she said.
Chawinga is a female football Icon who took the world by surprise after being the first African player winning the golden boot award in Italy and in her first season.
