Wellness Wednesday - Workplace wellness šŸ§˜šŸ¾šŸƒšŸ¾ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤øšŸ¾ā˜˜ļø

An average employee spends approximately 50 hours of their week at work. Thatā€™s about one-third of oneā€™s waking life every year. Further, workers will consume about one-third of all their meals at work. In other words, the workplace is almost like a second home for most of us.

It makes a lot of sense that the work environment should be a place where employees can feel comfortable, valued, and nurtured. After all, if work is only stressful and over-demanding with no respite, this can lead to severe problems, both mentally and physically. In turn, the issues that result will be negative for employees and their livelihoods. But theyā€™re also bad for the organizations they work for.

Therefore, it is important that both workers and employers should consider reducing stress at work to improve their wellbeing and the success of the organization overall.
